Barceló opened it in 2018 at the quiet end of Costa Adeje, on the rocky shoreline beside La Caleta, and the design, all white curves and sea-facing terraces by Canarian architect Leonardo Omar, still looks fresh. The family-friendly Corales Suites sits next door; make sure you book the Beach side.
What earns it the top spot is consistency. The pattern in guest feedback is unusually steady: rooms that all face the sea, a rooftop pool level that stays calm, and food that is genuinely good rather than resort-adequate, with serious restaurants on site. La Caleta itself, a fishing village with honest seafood, is a short walk, and the smarter end of Costa Adeje is fifteen minutes on foot along the promenade.
It suits a couple who want warmth, quiet and something to do in the evening without a car. It is not a place for a long lazy beach day, and it is not cheap in winter, but as a first choice for a week of reliable January sun it is the one we would book.
